Member’s Meeting and Opening Exhibition Reception

We will have a Special Members Meeting on October 1 from 4 to 6 pm in the Special Exhibition Gallery at SAC.  The artists who are participating in our annual exhibit this year will be talking about their inspiration and creative process in producing their artwork that is represented in the show.  We also will introduce the new digital voting card that will be used for the People’s Choice Award and next year for the Open Studios Gift Certificate Drawing.    Everyone is welcome to join us!

The Opening Reception

The Opening Reception will be in the gallery on October 2 from 4 to 6 pm.  This will be a celebration honoring SVAC and our member artists who are participating in our 24^th Annual Exhibition.  It will be a fun and social event for everyone to enjoy and not to be missed!

Artist’s Breakfast

We will have our artist’s breakfast at the Pump House in Tlaquepaque North on Monday, October 12, at 10 am.  This will be an opportunity to visit some of the galleries in Tlaquepaque or go Uptown to SAC and see our annual exhibit.  We look forward to seeing you on October 12.

Art on the Hill-The El Valle Artists Association Gallery-Jerome High School Art Center

Art on the Hill is an artist-run gallery featuring artists from across the Verde Valley of Arizona. The represented artists are members of the El Valle Artists Association, a nonprofit organization that has been fostering creativity and community in the Verde Valley since 1972. 

In the gallery, you will find art across a range of mediums—including oil, acrylic and watercolor painting, collage, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, assemblage, photography, and bookmaking—and across a wide variety of approaches and themes. You’ll also find a treasure trove of functional art, such as cards, clothing, journals and pottery. They definitely have a little something for everyone.

After their initial success, El Valle is expanding the gallery, opening new opportunities to display their work as well as teach workshops. To participate, you must become a member of El Valle and complete some straightforward paperwork. If you are interested, please send me an email and I will forward you the detailed information.

Please check it out and introduce yourself as an SVAC artist. They are in Building A, Room 205 and open Friday through Monday 

11am-4pm and the Jerome First Saturday Art Walk from 5-8pm.

Holiday Artists-Market Sedona Arts Center-December 4-6

This festive exhibit brings together up to 40 talented artists from across the region, each offering a unique selection of work specially curated for the holiday season. Showcasing a wide variety of mediums—including painting, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, book arts, photography, glass, woodwork, and mixed media—this annual event is a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and community spirit. The exhibit presents the season’s creative energy, it is a joyful expression of artistic talent and the beauty of giving.
